In order to reduce and prevent air pollution, a joint team of inspectors from the National ‎Environmental Protection Agency, Kabul Municipality, and the Ministry of Interior affairs monitored ‎‎76 activities in different parts of Kabul on 2nd and 3rd April.‎
During the two-day, the team monitored 53 manufacturing and industrial factories, 6 high ‎buildings, 7 hotels and restaurants, and 4 bathrooms. The joint delegation inspected and toke the ‎commitment of 11 hotels, restaurants, and bathrooms to improve their fuel system.  They also ‎removed the blockage of two high buildings that had installed a smoke purification filter after re ‎monitoring.‎
The monitoring team of all three departments is running every day, in order to reduce and prevent ‎air pollution in Kabul.‎
The National Environmental Protection Agency requests from all owners of guilds and activities to ‎regulate their work in accordance with environmental guidelines in order to reduce and prevent air ‎pollution, otherwise, their activities will be suspended and punished in accordance with the law.‎
