The Director-General of NEPA appreciates the sincerity and efforts of the previous Deputy Director of policy and ‎international relations of the agency.

Idrees Malyar, Deputy Director of Policy and International Relations of the National Environmental Protection Agency, said goodbye to the leadership and staff of the National Environmental Protection Agency.
Schah Zaman Maiwandi, Director General of the National Environmental Protection Agency,  ‎appreciated Mr. Malyar's efforts and services in his area of responsibility, including his efforts to ‎allocate funds from international environmental mechanisms, formulating a national environmental ‎policy, and attracting experienced staff.
Mr. Maiwandi mentioned Idrees Malyar as an honest young man, a hardworking director ‎and stated that in more than two years of his presence, comprehensive programs in the field of ‎policy and international relations have been designed and developed.‎
Subsequently, Mohammad Yousuf Hamidian, Deputy Director of Finance and Administration, and Engineer Ezatullah Sediqi, Deputy Director of Technical Affairs, spoke about Mr. Malyar's efforts, hard work, and commitment as a clear example of his patriotism.
At the end of the ceremony, Idrees Malyar, former Deputy Director of Policy and International ‎Relations of the National Environmental Protection Agency, said that in every position and mission I ‎take responsibility for, I strive to serve the homeland with commitment and honesty.
He added that Afghanistan is in a positive position in the field of diplomacy and good relations with the world and international organizations. However, it is necessary to pay more attention to the continuation and implementation of the steps taken in the past.
Idrees Malyar has received his Master's degree from Oregon State University in the United States and has served as Deputy Director of Policy and International Relations for the National Environmental Protection Agency since 2018.‎
The ceremony ended by presenting a Certificate of Appreciation to Mr. Malyar for his brilliant ‎services in the field of environment.‎
