NEPA celebrated the constitution week

The National Environmental Protection Agency (NEPA) held a Constitutional Week celebration at the Hashmat Khan Conference Hall of this office, in which the Independent Commission for Monitoring the Implementation of ‎the Constitution, the Ministry of Justice, Attorney General's Office ‎Representatives, students, and staff of the agency participated.
Schah Zaman Maiwandi, Director General of the National Environmental ‎Protection Agency, welcomed the participants and spoke in detail about the ‎Constitution. He added: "The current constitution is more valuable and better ‎than the previous laws because it has two dimensions. It ensures Islamic ‎regulations, as well as democratic principles, and protects the freedom of the people.
Mr. Maiwandi said: that the National Environmental Protection Agency has ‎been established "According to Article 7 of the Constitution”. Which forces the agency to work ‎on the implementation of five years plan for the reduction ‎and prevention of air pollution. The media, academic institutions, scholars, civil society, and ‎honorable citizens also have a responsibility to play a constructive role in ‎protecting the environment.‎
Afterwards, Maarefat Almas, Advisor to the Independent Commission for Monitoring the Implementation of the Constitution, gave a comprehensive speech on the Constitution and called for the cooperation of the people in the implementation of the Constitution.
In the second part of the program, a panel formed under the host of ‎Mohammad Qasim Rahimi, Director of Information and Public Awareness of ‎NEPA discussed comprehensive and scientific legal issues, environmental ‎crimes, obligations, and duties of the people against the constitution.‎
