National Environmental Protection Agency in collaboration with the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and with financial support of (GCF) held a two-day training workshop for 50 representatives of relevant agencies in the Band-e-Amir Conference Hall of the agency about using the newly developed portal (the National Climate Change Information System) NCIS.
At the beginning, Engineer Ezatullah Siddiqi, Technical Deputy Director of the National Environmental Protection Agency, spoke about the facilities and benefits of the portal and said that the system is very important and valuable in fighting the climate change.
During the workshop, the experts of the organization presented comprehensive informational presentations on the use of the National Climate Change Information System, and the workshop ended with the distribution of certificates.
It is important to note that from now on, the plans and reports that are prepared ‎for international financial mechanisms in the field of climate change management,‎will be approved and consulted with the National ‎Environmental Protection Agency (NEPA) through this system. And its work process will be carried out ‎quickly and regularly.
