By the order of the President, Dr. Ahmad Haseeb Payab was appointed as Deputy ‎‎‎Director for Planning, Policy, and Oversight of the National Environmental ‎Protection ‎‎Agency. The leadership of NEPA, Khan Mohammad Takal, Director ‎General of the ‎Water ‎Management Authority, and representatives of a number of ‎other ‎governmental ‎and non-governmental organizations attended the program.
In the beginning, Schah Zaman Maiwandi, Director General of the National ‎Environmental Protection Agency, welcomed the participants and congratulated ‎Mr. Payab on his new appointment. Mr. Maiwandi added that all governmental ‎affairs should be done in a team and group form and it is important to work ‎together to achieve the goals.‎Afterwards, Ahmad Haseeb Payab, Deputy Director of Planning, Policy and Oversight of the National Environmental Protection Agency (NEPA) spoke and promised to do his affairs with utmost sincerity.

Mr. Payab holds a doctorate in Environmental Protection and Water Resources ‎Management and has previously served as Director of Planning and Policy at the ‎Water Management Authority, as well as other governmental and non-governmental organizations.
