Acting minister of Education: “all the students and teachers participate in national tree planting campaign”.

Schah Zaman Maiwandi Director-General of the National Environmental Protection Agency, in the series of ‎meetings with ministers and high-level government officials for gaining the support of different ‎society segments, met with Ms, Rangina Hamidi, acting Minister of Education.
The two sides in this meeting discussed about better implementation of National Tree Planting campaign, specially the role of teachers and students in the process.

Mr. Maiwandi called the tree planting campaign national and added the plan, which is made by this ‎agency with other, related agencies, identified the roles and responsibilities of all the offices. Based on ‎the planning ministry of education helps NEPA in implementing this national process by encouraging the ‎students to participate in the campaign.
Director-General of the National Environmental Protection Agency stressed the important position of ‎teachers and students in environmental protection and emphasized the involvement of educators and ‎students' families in this national process.

Meanwhile, Ms. Rangina Hamidi acting Minister of Education while supporting the national tree ‎planting campaign pledged to encourage the educators, students, and the educational institution to ‎plant trees and take care of them.
Based on the approved plan, 25 million trees will be planted all over the country by the cooperation of ‎governmental agencies and different segments of society.
Although, 17 million trees were planted all over the country last year.
