Shah Zaman Maiwandi, Director General of the National Environmental Protection Agency, was honored with a statue by the leadership and members of the Environmental volunteers Network during a ceremony.

The ceremony, which was attended by the chairman and a number of members of the Environmental volunteers Network, pay tribute to Mr. Maiwandi for his efforts towards a healthy environment, efficient management, and the Development of National programs to improve the overall Environmental situation in the country.

Abdul Hadi Achakzai, the head of this network, presented him with the valuable services of the General Director of this office in the field of the country's environment, a statue and an honorary membership card of this network.

Meanwhile, Shah Zaman Maiwandi, General Director of the National Environmental Protection Agency, while thanking the network of environmental experts, said: "We try to work with the people, religious scholars, media and environmental institutions, for a healthy environment free of any pollution."
