Goodbye ceremony of Shah Zaman Maiwandi with colleagues in the National Environmental Protection Agency

Shah Zaman Maiwandi's goodbye ceremony with colleagues from the National Environmental Protection Agency. After three years and eight months of great achievements, Shah Zaman Maiwandi, General Director of the National Environmental Protection Agency, said goodbye to the Office's deputies, chiefs, advisers, and personnel today. Mr. Maiwandi's valuable services and tremendous efforts were honored at a ceremony attended by all office personnel, including men and women.


 


Engineer Ezatullah Siddiqui, the department's deputy of professional and technical, appreciated Mr. Maiwandi for his dedication, honesty, and performance, as well as his attitude, good management, and loyalty.


Mr. Siddiqui added, "Under Mr. Maiwandi's leadership and management, substantial and significant successes have been accomplished in all sections of this department in the last few years."Mr. Siddiqui also praised Mr. Maiwandi's leadership, patriotism, and teamwork, and wished them well in their lives.


Then, Mr. Maiwandi was congratulated by Seyyed Meysam Ehsani, Public Awareness Advisor, for the successful conclusion of his mission, which was marked by major accomplishments.


Mr. Ehsani stated that he always responded with problems and affairs with tolerance, sincerity, logic, and reasoning, and that he did not believe in ethnic and regional prejudices. "Stay in this homeland, because this land needs honest and loyal persons like you,"


Dr. Noman Hekmat, on behalf of the heads and staff, Ms. Nadereh Rashidi and Afifa Alipour, on behalf of the female staff in this department, and Heshmatullah Enayat, Head of Panjshir Environmental Protection, on behalf of the provincial heads, efforts, management, and leadership, expressed their gratitude to Mr. Maiwandi for his kindness as well as, most importantly, for strengthening and supporting women.


"I thank God that after almost 3 years and 8 months of mission, this responsibility ends with a pure heart and great achievements due to your cooperation, dear colleagues," Shah Zaman Maiwandi, Director General of the National Environmental Protection Agency, said at the end of the ceremony, thanking the President for his trust in providing the opportunity to work in this office.


"With all of the difficulties and challenges we experienced, you can see that I had great achievements in this process," Mr. Maiwandi remarked. Receiving funds from global financial resources, particularly the Green Climate Fund (GCF), and ongoing monitoring of air pollution sources are only a few examples, proposing and directing the country's National Seedling Campaign is one of the most essential jobs you and your colleagues have achieved together.


"Now that this department has established a significant position in the government, working in this department, like working in the security and defense sector, is of great value and importance," Mr. Maiwandi added.


Mr. Maiwandi congratulated Mr. Pashtun Atef on his new position and wished him the best of luck in his career.Mr. Maiwandi received a statuette and a note of thanks from the leadership of this office at the conclusion of the ceremony for his loyalty, effort, leadership, and bravery.


It is noteworthy that, under Mr. Maiwandi's leadership and administration, in the sectors of climate change, planning, public awareness, and the expansion of green areas and seedlings, significant progress has been made in the last three years, the creation of national parks and protected areas, the monitoring of air pollution sources, and the establishment of a system of institutions; Many efforts have been made in compared to previous years, which have resulted in great achievements.
