The Director General of the National Environmental Protection Agency emphasized on increasing coordination and collaboration with the private sector

The National Environmental Protection Agency's first leadership meeting was held under the chairmanship of Pasthoon Atif, the Agency's New Director General.
The meeting, which was also attended by Deputies and Heads of departments, focused on resolving environmental issues and boosting collaboration with Government Agencies and private sector.
The Director General of the National Environmental Protection Agency said: providing services to privite sectors that need environmental permits; "It is an important and serious necessity and all central and secondary units have a responsibility to provide appropriate and timely services to the private sector."
At the same time, he emphasized that the private sector is an important partner and supporter of the government, and that they should take environmental laws and regulations into account in their operations.
The Director General of the National Environmental Protection Agency ordered that the required steps should be taken to combat air pollution, fight corruption, and prevent interference in the affairs and the provision of services to the people.
He called on all citizens, scholars, the media, the private sector, and civil society activists to collaborate with the National Environmental Protection Agency to improve capacities in the field of information and public awareness, which he identified as a sacred duty for future generations.
