Pashtun Atif, Director General of the National Environmental Protection Agency, , met with  Mrs. Emliy Harson, responsible for growth and development at the English Embassy in Kabul via conference call to discuss the Cop26 conference, which will be held next month in England.
The two sides discussed progress in the field (COP26), Afghanistan's summit preparations, efforts to gain international support for the conference, and the finalization of the country's National Partnership Document, which will serve as the UN Convention on Climate Change's secretariat. #UNFCCC) to be sent, discussed.
Ms. Harrison also told the Director General of the National Environmental Protection Agency that they would coordinate and cooperate in order for officials of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to attend the conference (COP26).
It's worth noting that the Conference of the Members, which has 196 members, meets every year to make key global decisions on climate change and distribute responsibilities to member countries. This year's meeting will take place in Glasgow, United Kingdom.
