The Climate Change International Week Celebrated in Nangarhar Province

The climate Change International Week celebrated in Nangarhar province by hosting of National Environmental Protection Agency and Environmental protection directorate of Nangarhar and the contribution of UNEP on October 17,2019.

Tamim Aref assistant of Nangarhar province, Ahmad Samim Hoshmand director of climate change of NEPA, Dr. Ahmad Behsoodwal director of Nangarhar province, Mr. Ameenullah Yosafzai director of Nangarhar environmental protection, Teachers and students of Nangarhar University, Representatives Ulema council of this province, representatives of civil society and Medias participated in this program.

In the first Dr. Khalil Ahmad Behsoodwal director of Nangarhar University has talked regarding factors and challenges of climate change and combat with this issue.

The assistant of Nangarhar province requested from people that they should be shared public awareness about climate change and environmental protection with his families.
Mr. Hoshmand Director of climate Change directorate of NEPA also talked about challenges, Combat, and Adoption with climate change.

Mr. Ameenullah Yosafzai Director of Environmental Protection of Nangarhar talked about activates of its directorate. He added: exuberance of population, exuberance of vehicles, and combustion of non-quality equipment’s, the exuberance of non-normal custom in the city, the circumscription of green area and forests and less attendance of people in environmental protection section are the factors of climate change.

Sayeda Jan Atiqi Abdyani director of agriculture faculty of Nangarhar University also talked about the role of climate change in agriculture and he requested the contribution of people in this part.
In the countdown of program distributed certificates on attenders of 3day workshops.
