Chemical Management Unit Inaugurated

The first workshop of the chemical material project officially inaugurated in Band-e-Amir Conference room on October 20, 2019.

Mr. Idris Malyar Policy and International Relations Deputy of National Environmental Protection Agency, Mohammad Hasnain Representative of UNEP for Afghanistan, Representatives of close ministries and directorate, Teachers of University participated in this program.

In the first Mr. Malyar said: inauguration of this project is very important in the section of chemical material. From those conventions that Afghanistan has a membership of that, 5 conventions have related to Management of Chemical material, accordingly having of a Unit for the advancement of affairs is very important.

The Policy and International Deputy of NEPA added: The aim of this workshop is public awareness about this project. For the advancement of this project and other related matters that will make the National Committee of Chemical material and this committee will help us in decision makings.

Subsequently Mohammad Hasnain Representative of UNEP for Afghanistan about Activation of this project, Rahmatullah Rafi Coordinator of Chemical Project of UNEP about Chemical agreement and Sayeda Gawhar Senior Technical Advisor of UNEP presented his presentations.

In the final of this workshop, attenders presented his ideas regarding this project.
