The signing of Environmental Agreements with MoIC, MoHRA and Azizi Bank

The National Environmental Protection Agency during press conference signed Environmental agreements regarding joint public awareness campaigns with the Ministry of Information and Culture, Ministry of Haj and Religious Affairs and Azizi Bank in Government Information and Media Center on November 3, 2019.


In this conference Engineer Ezatullah Sediqi Deputy Director-General of National Environmental Protection Agency, Sayeed Fazel Aqaa Sancharaki Deputy Director of Ministry of Information and Culture, Taj Mohammad Mujahid Deputy Director of Ministry of Haj and Religious Affairs, Mohammad Salem Omid Director of Aziz Bank and mangers of these directorates participated.


Mr. Sediqi said: signing of these agreements is important for increasing public awareness and participating of governmental and non-governmental associations, civil society, Ulema and private sector in the section of environmental campaign and increasing public awareness level.


He added: We should work together for reducing pollutions, conservation of wildlife, the importance of live diversity, combating the prevention of hunting and adaption with climate change. 


Mr. Sediqi emphasized that lack of public awareness in the section of environment is one of the main challenges and participating of all governmental and non-governmental for increasing public awareness is very important. For this reason, we have signed these environmental agreements for more coordination of these collaborations.  


Subsequently, Sayeed Fazel Aqaa Sancharaki Deputy Director of Ministry of Information and Culture said: According to the regulation of private Media, They should include national important messages in their programs and we will broadcast environmental matters through governmental and with the collaboration of in 34 provinces.


Taj Mohammad Mujahid Deputy Director of the Ministry of Haj and Religious Affairs promised that they will share environmental matters by programs and propaganda with the collaboration of Ulema and Mosques with peoples.  


Mohammad Salem Omid Director of Aziz Bank said: We had programs regarding the protection of the environment during 5 last years and forth more we promise that we will work with NEPA for increasing public awareness campaigns.


In the final of this conference, Mr. Sediqi answered the questions of reporters.
