The second meeting of Emergency National Climate Committee of Afghanistan held by leading of Mr. Schah-Zaman Maiwandi Director General of National Environmental Protection Agency and presenting Deputy Director Generals of this directorate, Deputy Director Generals of ministries and directorates, Literatures of University and international cooperator organizations representatives in Band –e-Amir Conference Room on November 17, 2019. 

In this meeting changed the bill obligation of the Emergency National Climate Committee and after this, this committee will call the “Emergency National Climate Committee,, .  

The main changes in this committee are Aim, Destinations, Members of the committee and their responsibilities. 

This committee has high and senior representatives of different governmental and non-governmental authorities and also this is the best advisory structure against combating climate changes in the country. 

This committee will have a meeting in three next months and will announce the necessary advice in the section of climate change affairs.
