The Executive Committee of Wildlife Performed a Meeting

The executive committee of wildlife Performed a meeting by leading Engineer Ezatullah Sediqi deputy director-general of the National Environmental Protection Agency and participating of University teachers, experts, representatives and experts of Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) in Band-E-Amir Conference Room on November 18, 2019.


 


At first, Mr. Sediqi welcomed to members and said: The activities of this committee are very important,


The matter of wildlife and biodiversity has importance in the global level and luckily Afghanistan by having wildlife, biodiversity, forest and extensive natural source a wealthy country.


Mr. Sediqi added: We need to brief study regarding wildlife and biodiversity for receiving more helps from financial mechanisms to the conservation of wildlife.


 


After that Jaludin Nasiri director of natural heritage of this agency presented a presentation about responsibilities the executive committee of wildlife and other global related member’s conventions of the committee. 


 


The members of committee suggested their ideas and also asked their questions about wildlife and deputy director general answered those questions.


 


Also Mr. Mujtaba Bashiri the teacher of Kabul University has shared information about project of conservation of wildlife. This project has sponsored from Small Grant Program (SGP) and also prepares logistics facilities for this project.


 


In the final moments of the meeting also discussed and decided about the pervious reviewing process of committee, investment on wildlife matters, brief studying by experts on that and sharing that from global pages and also conducting public awareness programs for frontier police and workers of customhouses about the prevention of hunting of wildlife.
